Greetings to all the AFN family. I'm Lloyd, a newbie from the North West. I haven't used cannabis since the 70s until a concerned family member gave me some as a Christmas gift for pain relief. I was stunned how effective it was! Also, I was stunned how much it costs now days...couldn't believe how potent it has become either, sheesh! Anyway, my wife and I both suffer with RA and wanted to try growing our own, figured Autos would suit our short growing season and provide stealth from prying eyes. I'm eager to learn but please be patient with me during the process, I'm as ignorant as I sound (never grown before). Looking forward to everything!

Welcome Loyd! I haven't smoked since the 70's either, until a few months ago. I've got a nice grow in progress that I'm journalling on AFN.

There are other members here with RA and I'm sure they will be glad to help you any way they can. I'm here because my lady has MS, and I messed up my back many years ago and "modern medicine" is mostly out of options for my pain. I plan to make medicinal oils with my crop and begin to see what will work for us.
You'll find lots of help and many good people here, so jump right in and participate!

Hello Lloyd,

Glad to have you at AFN. Lot's of folks here to help you out. We hope we can see you get your grow on. I was in grade school in ht e70's, but have been growing on and off since the 80's. There is a lot of difference in technique these days. Don't even mention using miracle grow around here. lol.

So we have a medical section just for folks like you and I who suffer from life's adversities. There are many ways of healing that can suit any lifestyle. Just got to know how to ask questions.
