Day 15 Indoor Walter White Bx1, changed lights from 24/0 seedling spectrum down to 18/6 vegetative spectrum today on the vivosun aerolight. Going to let this lady go au naturel though I usually preach the virtues of a good topping

What kind of set up do you have her in? It looks like a square box of some sort UNDER the floor of the tent.

I miss having my worms. When the Eagle poops next, I'm ordering stuff from Uncle Jim's, since the Texas Worm Ranch shut down and went to Colorado. The owner of the building didn't want to replace the A/C units after they were vandalized for the copper.
Speaking of crazy worm activity, have you halved avocados and just place them on top of the media? It's an absolute worm feast and orgy under the avocado half.

She is in a “box of earth” which is my 2’x2’x2’ open bottomed cedar raised bed which goes straight to the soil under my house which even at basement depth is still pretty nice ground. Box got filled with native soil from out in my garden, composts, some bagged raised bed mixes as filler, dry amendments. Only organic inputs

Seriously talking my wife into letting me just build out a 10x10 room that has raised beds like this inside. No more buying soil and it would be a dream room in my basement, I hate tents and not being able to walk around the plants. This setup is hand down the easiest growing I have done

I was hoping it was something like that!
WHEN I get to build my growroom in my shop, there will be at least one 4x4 bed.
Tents just restrict what you can do to your plants.
That it with canna, bigger beds equal easier and more productive grows!

A week behind schedule and the outdoor Old School Mango Haze has hit symmetry. Symmetry is when the second set of true leaves are equal in size to the first set of true leaves. Typically this should be achieved by day 10, today is day 17. Looks like a compass

And we are still waiting for outdoor WW Bx1 to hit this milestone. Close but no cigar. Day 18

I’ll be extremely interested to see if they give me a longer Veg than the indoor plants as I can’t help but hope there is some natural mechanism we don’t understand that allows the autos outside to delay flowering. Or I’ll end up with a tiny harvest if they flower on the same timeline :goodluck:
Here is day 6 indoor OSMH, atleast I haven’t damped this one off:haha: (knocks on wood)

Day 20 Walter White Bx1 indoor
I wasn’t going to do much LST but this plant is so pliable and willing I had to give her main a 90 bend and train the branches to fill voids and make all tops at one level plane. She had a lovely natural structure but with a 2x2x4.5 tent with a 100w light she will perform better with this training :naughtystep:

Day 21 end of week 3 for Walter White Bx1 indoor and she took nicely to the training. A bit of leaf tucking after this was taken to expose the lower nodes

WWBx1 outdoor day 20 just hitting symmetry now, 10 days late. So now it will be cool if she doesn’t sex until day 27 as that would be 10 days after the indoor WWBx1 did the same🧐

Don't ya just love how canna reacts to training?
I used a simple lay over LST on AVT planted on one end in an Earthbox. The main kept growing with taking different pulls as it was growing, with the normal side branching popping along the way, made for a bunch of bud sites without topping. I think that works best with a very symmetrical girl. I'd like to try it with a photo and see how it works.

Early Day 10 indoor OSMH and she is borderline hitting symmetry so on schedule👍 by end of day she will probably be right on point. I like after this point in grows as everything starts moving a bit faster from here on out

Day 23 indoor WWBx1
Watered her with Roots Organic Bloom Terp Tea to prep her for transition as I can see the growth looking different on the tips. Raised the light a few inches to entice a bit of stretch and planning for a wire training session in a day or two to spread her that last bit before we enter flower. And maybe vacuum the dirt from around the base of the tent while I can to keep things tidy if I’m not too high to remember:baked:

Both outdoor ladies are picking up steam, but if you live in the northeast US you know the past few days have been hot and sunny but now we are headed into a rainy cold spell so these ladies will likely rely on the lighted buckets at night to meet DLI needs and up the temps.
