The two buddy's getting ready to share the same undercurrent stream together ! ( the bigger seedling is either an auto critical ogre or a fastbuds rhino ryder ? . i say that because i started both together but i had a hitch up on one . , i had a couple of 00 seeds california kush auto seeds so i popped 1 of them an its now starting to catch up with the bigger one and in time start filling out the bigger cubes with roots .

good question! usually the one furthest down stream does better than the upper one on this tray ! where i remember when using the gt424 when i put 6 plants in , it was always the middle 2 that would florish most out of them ! , i see you plant yours downstream ! i like it :) what do you think maybe its the roots like to grow up the flow instead more than downwards ?

If a downstream plant isn't doing so well as ones further up they say it's too low a flow rate so does that mean if your downstream ones are doing better that you might have too high a flow rate?

Aye, the roots seem to grow uphill towards the source of the oxygenated nutrient mix in my systems when using a modest flow rate on a single plant. When I've planted them further up the table it seems more likely to lead to roots being bunched up near the delivery tube whereas further down seems to lead to a more even spread of roots over the entire table. I haven't got thousands of plants with accurate yield reports to back up whether it works better or not but it looks like more efficient use of space so I like it too:smoking:

good info kush !
ive been theorising about that aswell !, hmm ? so soil roots like heading in downwards direction wheres its be the opposite in some hydro techniques like what we are using where they , like you say, i think the same about they seem to want to head up the flow and follow up the water source ?.
flow wise !, (pic) I have 2 trays running of the same nft pump with just enough flow to keep both sides with a small trickle going through ! I got some 8mm inner thickness pipe that fits on the end of the pump and also some T junctions and L shape 1s to fit .

Its abit of a balancing act to keep both flows going but works ok for now !, im thinking maybe some kind of dripper system will would work better tho ? , say a few different droplet areas placed around from the top ?

harvest , about 2 and a half jugs from the 2 big guns ! i dont have scales but when dry a look should be estimatable, i chopped a few days early so some xmas smoke had a decent cure time View attachment 673179
Congrats the harvest:slap:

Think I'd get a 2nd pump in there before the pump starts wearing out.

I had one where I got to the end of a run with a well used pump and it didn't even have enough power to push water up the hose to empty the res one last time. Thankfully it was still able to deliver enough of a flow up the shorter delivery tube while the plant was growing but I reckon I only just got away with it.....with your longer delivery tube and multiple outlets it sounds like your 1 pump needs to be running at maximum efficiency to keep up and I wouldn't count on it doing that forever.
