Grow Room Nirvana Northern Lights

Has she been getting any silica ?

Glad to assist, BayLee. Yeah, she was looking a little lumen loopy, there. I bet she'd take that wattage in flower. Boom!

I've done all my grows with the wattage that I have now. I had the 300w dual spectrum and thought she'd like it. Lumen loopy is just what she's got. :Sharing One:

Went on the Technaflora web site and they have a wattage calculator. Plugged in the info and it gave me 150w would be adequate. They also say it's 50w per sq ft. That would be 250w. There is 284w going on there now. The 384w was way too much for that small area. Will see what the reduction of wattage does. I also put the last photo in a "heat" filter and the top of Chunky was blazing red.

Chunky will appreciate the respite :) When I got my first LED panel- a 240 watt full spectrum- I figured it would just replace my T5 fixture-only 100 watts or so-and didn't think of how the 3 ladies in the closet would like going from Peoria to South Beach.... They were mimicking Chunky, big time! But, when they got into flower, they took every watt of that panel!

I get it. I think she's not able to handle the extra lumens. The heat from the 300w was an issue too. The box's feel is a bit cooler. I may add more small cfls in due time, but right now I got to get her back to normal. Tomorrow and we'll see.

Twenty Four Hours After Switching Lighting

After twenty four hours of replacing the hot 300w Feliz Dual Spectrum with a 200w Feliz "Red". Chunky has come back to life. I have 284w of cfls in the SuperBox now. There are some bud sites that are a little droopy, but 95% of the plant has come back. I would of had to water her after 24-36 hours, because Chunky was transpiring through the leaves just to keep cool. The "canoe" shape of the leaves have pretty much vanished too. I still have some smaller clfs that I'll add later on, but right now she's back to normal. "Bailers Booya"
