NORBY has a go at MYCOLOGY

First time at trying this mushroom growing malarkey.​

INGREDIENTS ​

10ml Syringe of Golden teacher Liquid Culture.​

1 kg Sterile Rye Grain + 2 kg CVG ​

(100% Organic)

I inoculated the Rye Grain with 7ml of Golden teacher 18 days ago and put in my mono box.

Had no signs of life after 15 days so I mixed up the bag a little.

2 days later I noticed the first signs of mycelium.

Each day now the mycelium is spreading more and more.

Can't wait for tonight's visit to the Den to see if it's spread more lol

Imaging being excited to see if fungus is growing.

The mycelium is spawning well​

I mixed the bag up again to spread things out some more.​

I've also noticed the Grain Bag has started to generate its own heat now so I've dropped the temperature on the thermostat down a bit.

Spawn substrate: Grain Colonisation temperature: 28-30°C

Is this correct info above.

Ive been keeping my monobox @26°c,
Would be better to go at a slightly higher temperature,?
