you don't have to worry about ph just use the water you would water your flowers veg or lawn with
as for prepping the soil you could dig a little compost in maybe a handful or 2 of chicken manure pellets
nettles comfrey dock and dandelion leaves make a great mulch and feed and wilko`s have levingtons tom feed £3 ltr
hope this helps

I am so excited

I had convinced myself that the seeds were not going to germinate. Checked them this morning (about 60 hrs after they went into the paper towels) and I have three tinny tap roots poking out :) :) :)

One of them is very very small so I think I will give them a few more hours before putting them in the soil. Root up right? There seems to be some disagreement online

I am looking at doing Westland john inns No.1 seedling compost and some perlite 75% - 25% split approx. and no nutes for a couple of weeks. They are then going in the propagator on the window sill where they can pretend to be tomato plants for a couple of weeks

Time to prep the pots and give them a pre-soaking.

If anyone spots a gapping rooky error please let me know

:coffee2:

I plant tail down. Get ready for 1000 opinions. They rotate either way if they need to. The idea behind taproot up is it creates an anchor as it rotates. You be the judge... I get the fastest results tap root down. But strain dependent obviously.

lol thanks. I suppose I will have to make the call myself, or maybe try two up and one down or vise versa

Go nuts and plant one sideways. Those MF find their way to the top! Good luck :Sharing One:

The girls are in. Now comes the wait for them to pop out of the earth.

technically you could get by with seagrow all purpose 16-16-16 for the whole grow. 6£. They also make a bloom product called Hawaiian bud which you probably should get too. 4-26-26 - packed with macro's, micros and trace elements.

I really like with IDS did - check out his feed schedule

You don't need much from start to finish in a basic grow . good luck :peace:

Is it normal to get paranoid that you have done it wrong at every stage ? Its only been 36 hrs but I am starting to worry I may have drowned the girls !

I need some advice. I only have the option of doing an out door grow and I am in the North of England. Is it too late to start a new grow off and have it Finnish before the frost set in in the Autumn ?

I would be happy to have a shorter veg stage and bring them into flowering early by switching notes. Is this possible ?

I would not be able to start new seeds until midish May given the delivery time, so not sure if there is even time for this ?

Any advice / sugestion appreciated

I have been dry for so long I really don't want to have to wait another year ! But I also don't want to waist time and cash only to have the buds rot in October.

Fingers crossed that they will pop out of the ground soon, but best to have a back up plan.

hahahah, your very much like me. Did they po! Did they pop! They can take ten days :P Im always "FREAKIN OUT MAN" when I germinate. They do eventually pop. We have the same strain going. Im on day 22. Good luck :) :Sharing One:
