New Grower Northen Lights Auto, UK Outdoor Grow, 1st Ever Grow Attempt

Looking good Early. The weather is starting to warm up and I think I heard that there will be a heat wave next week. So I have my fingers crossed for you! when are putting them outside?

I was thinking the first week of June for proper outside over night. Going to start giving them little hollidays for an hour or so as soon as the weather gets a bit better. Hopefully in the next few days. Hmmmm makes me think I don't want to wait too long to move the 2nd 2 plants, so they have time to settle in the big pots !

Estimated to climb to 20c towards the middle of this week, although night time temps are still not stable and above 10+ getting as low as 3 some nights and out in the sticks that could even mean a light frost. (uk)

I use XCWeather to check the weekly forecasts, more so for my fishing as its predicted hourly / daily forecasts are one of the best I have found compared to other sites.

Right now outside we are being battered by 30+ mile an hour winds.

What company are the seeds from early_girl? as I have a free NL that came with my order. Plants are looking good

If you can get your hands on a desk fan it's worth them getting a little breeze each time it rotates. It will make the stems stronger for when they go outside.

I started browsing the next for one, then took a quick look up to the left and realised I have one already :dance2: Thanks for the tip :tiphat:

All the girls are in the big pots now. So far so good !

The first one to be re-potted has had an hour out side to get ready for the move in a week or two.

Hope you're all making the most of the sunshine. How are they looking?

Hi all

Yes mark we have all been making the most of the sunshine

I have some pics that I will get up as soon as I can get onto the big computer. Two of them seem to be doing very well (although I have no frame of reference), the smallest of the three looks like she is struggling. She has the first 4 leaves, but has not got the next four that come off at the diagonal. I dint think she like the move much, growth has slowed on her too. With a big of luck she will rally and just be a bit smaller than the others.

All three have been out side, slowly stepping up to a full day outside today. I am still going to bring them in at night for another week.

I have been working on the veggie plot and enjoying the sun, the green house is ready to go. I am quite exited about getting all this done as I can see what the grow sight will look like.

My bio pack arrived today. I was planning on giving the first feed tomorrow. I was going to start off with bio grow 1ml to 1L. I am still a bit confused about the best way to go about this. I have read some stuff that says I should feed all 3 (bio, flower and top max) all at the same time. Others say just grow for the veg stage, would love to here your views and experience of this.

I have also started giving pest contole some thought. I have slug pellets but not much ells, if anyone knows the risks/ solutions any info on this is very welcome.

Lastly, do I need to be worried about mold at this stage ?

Sorry to neglect the thread for a week then leave a barrage of questions

Thanks for looking

Here are the pictures, the plants are two weeks old now. Are they growing OK, I think they look smaller than some others pictured on here, but I wounded if that was because they are not under lights ?

Thanks for looking DSCF5844.jpgDSCF5846.jpgDSCF5848.jpg

Early girl, nice growth, every strain grows differently. I am exactly 3 weeks into my grow. She is coming out with her 3rd node, she should have been a lot bigger but I made si many first time mistakes.

Your growth is green, healthy, just dont add any nutes Into the pot until about week 3/4, you will burn them. Trust me I fed them stupidly at week 1.5 idk what I was thinking.

If you havent ordered your nutes. Get plant magic old timers bloom and grow from eBay about 12 pounds per bottle with free delivery, or as someone mentioned before the wilkinsons tomatoe feed for 3 quid.

I will be checking here regularly, nice to see an outdoor grow.

All the best,

Zain
