What is your starting water PPMs? Without starting water I would think ~800 PPMs is as high as I would go.Just mixed my week 3 - mid/late veg nutes that will be going in today. About 22-24 days old now! Pics coming soon. The soup after everything was added came out to about 1200 ppm, up from the current 60% strength mix of 900 PPM. Think thats a safe feed? @Mañ'O'Green or should I dilute it?
Well that is a bit high in my opinion so watch for tip burn.Starting PPM is 90-100 PPM, After Nutes, hydroguard, and PH Down the new mix reads 1205 PPM. I used your spreadsheet @ 70% week 3 with full lineup of nutes. The past week they handled 900PPM with no adverse effects.
Well that is a bit high in my opinion so watch for tip burn.
Just bring down the PPMs with PHed water. The tip burn will show up in a day or two at most if not you are good to go. This is how I find the upper limit of what a plant likes.Okay thanks, if I notice tip burn, dilute the mix with water or remove the mix and flush with clean water?
Awesome thanks for the info, I was hoping that I would be able to gradually up the PPM but the mix somehow jumped an extra 200 ppm than I had planned. Well see how it goes!Just bring down the PPMs with PHed water. The tip burn will show up in a day or two at most if not you are good to go. This is how I find the upper limit of what a plant likes.

I had huge issues with PPM with my Dirty Water style of growing. So I ditched the pen( nice Hanna back in storage). When running bennies in the mix I was never sure what was really usable nutrients in the pots. I tried on my consecutive grows to keep the top up bucket bubbling and the PPM stable so I knew the amount added of fresh nutrients to the pots but not sure that got me anywhere. I knew the amount added had xxx ppm but what that did to the mix or how fast the plant was using them I have no idea.
I have the same plants about a week ahead or so. I think I’ve only given them the initial teaspoon of MC1 as initial bucket charge and a few days ago I dumped another heaping teaspoon in. Also at that time I added my bennies and some sugar.
Looks like you got things well in hand. Keep up the good work. Just sharing as I go, I’ve never had the good fortune to watch another exact same strain and medium grow while I’m growing, excited. My first Mephisto also. Structure is a lot different than I’m used to. These seem to really want to force that Christmas tree shape.
