I have 2 going. Purple Haze in flower and DoSiDo's at 21 days. Also have cucumbers, tomatoes and beans. I need another light and more space, but it sure smells good.
Looking tasty
what do you have growing here?Just a few more days
If you’re going for organic I’d recommend getting a large bag or bed. You want to not have to water too frequently and also the microbes will need time to breakdown your amendments. The bigger the soil the less maintained and potential problems you will have. Have you been making your own work castings? If not I’d start doing so. Super easy and will produce some great organic for you. I can talk you through it if you want. I’m about to harvest a bin myself, I was thinking of selling extra if I have it but I don’t think my bins are big enough yet for that. How are y’all doing this fine Dec 2nd? I’ll start by saying I’ve had a few issues in the tent. Switching water sources and Vivosun ph meter crapped out. Newest one part Megacrop is nothing like the last, or original version and got me confused. With help from Man-O-Green and a new apera ph20 kit I believe I have all the info to improve… just not this round. Thinking it’s too late to correct. So, on to new news… Christmas bonus came in and I have allotted $1000 for a new setup. I believe that I’ll be going all Mars hydro on this one.
what’s being considered…
MH 48x48x80” tent
MH FC-E 4800 480w
MH 6” in-line fan and filter combo with temp controller.
Also coming is 120 qts of coarse perlite, Dr earth 4,4,4 and 3,9,4 dry organic nutrients. I am starting the switch to organic as I’m sick of my plants getting the snot kicked outta them. I use peat based “soilless” medium and have been treating it like soil… ( I know, bonehead move) and salt nutes are good and have got me this far but looking to improve my skills and you can’t do that standing still! The new tent(or old) will be dedicated to photoperiod while the other one will be auto. So there is all that and here are pics of the girls in the tent today. Sorbet dreams have another 10 or so days to go (tallest two in tent). Midwest widows are at day 52 and the purplish Durban sunrise is at day 50.
Gonna start slow as I’ve heard from those on the forum that it’s quite the transition. Thinking a composter is in order first…If you’re going for organic I’d recommend getting a large bag or bed. Thanks for the welcome. And congratulations on your cruise! It’s always exciting when you first get started. Are used to live in western New York for a short time, our garbage plate still a thing? I’ve been talking to my daughter about it and she’s been wanting to take a road trip and try them out.Welcome to AFN and to NY-growers-club, @Kreatnkaos.
I started growing in WNY in May after the guv signed the new MRTA law. Sometimes I think I'm starting to get the hang of it.
