Need to calculate the HM Digital TDS EZ ppm pen. Got some bluelab 2.77EC (1385 ppm 500/ 1940 ppm 700) conductivity standard. Have the instructions on the TDS EZ on how to calculate. What number ppm do I calculate at 500 ppm or 700 ppm or ????

That pen will read up to 9990 ppm. At readings above 999 there is a x10 multiplier that kicks in. There should be an indicator on the display that lets you know that it's on.

Yeah I think that is what they use for their factory calibration. But with all meters, you get better accuracy if you calibrate with a solution close to the levels that you will be measuring. My res is usually 600-800ppm so I would use the 1000ppm for my calibrations.

The levels you will measure depends on your nutes, how much you use and your water.

Journey starts sometime next week...

Going to start with the SuperPonics first and then construct the 10 gallon DWC/Top Feed hydro set up as time goes on.
I may try out the 10 gallon DWC/Top Feed at @Rhyce Saroni's Rhyceland. I'll have to go over that with him. Plus it will give me a reason to visit more.

After three or four days of operation the ECO air2 has crapped out.
Man, am I glad that I pretested this set up...
Going to the Hydro shop to pick up another air pump.
Any good air pumps out there?

I've only ever used helia airpumps try and get one that's at least 20 ltrs per minute more air bigger roots bigger yeild [emoji106]
