What a wonderful Forum to be a part of. Followed some grows and different threads and I told my wife, I gotta join this AutoFlower Network, there are a bunch of smart folks I can learn from, so I joined and was accepted, yea baby.

Love to grow things so figured I take a stab at some auto flowers so here I am to learn and meet new folks and help my grow.

Archie, I’m thinking of a 2x4 Tent with 2 (two) 400 watt LED that have a PAR Rating of 1175 each at 21 inches - White Crack Auto grown in either 5 or 7 gallon cloth pots in OF / HF Combo with some worm castings a little kelp a few other small additions ..... I am going to trying my NO TRANSPLANT method where I use a water soaked empty toilet paper roll to house the seed inside the large pot and keep it moist until it germinates and eventually grows down into the pot - have used on vegetables / flowers with success ......

Undecided on topping, gemming, or just how to let her grow - in 1984 I ran a 400 watt hps over on plant in a ten gallon organic soil grow and did not top - I had a darn cola bud that weighed 121 grams dried of some of the stoniest weed I’ve ever had - funny thing only got 185 grams of bud total and 121 grams was in a 18” FAT LONG Bud - this is dry weight - I then had too many responsibilities to continue any more grows at that time and I kinda scared myself, it was that good.

@MrOldBoy Welcome to AFN. To get someone’s attention put the at-mark @ in front of their AFN name like I did for you.

If you have not purchased your lights yet I highly recommend Auto Cobs from @BigSm0 or ChilLed lights. @autobeast has a very informative thread about topping and training autos so you don't just get one big cola!

Lots of good farmers here to help not matter what style of growing you choose to do.

@Mañ'O'Green's - Already have my lights: https://advancedledlights.com/produ...ology-and-up-to-50-increase-in-par-intensity/ but these won’t be the only lights I buy, may go for second tent / lights and believe it or not I still have my old 400 Wat HydroFarm HPS and light rail and my squirrel cage exhaust fan but I’m not going to use the HPS this time due to heat and electric cost and limited amount of amps I have available in my grow area

If the spectrum shown on your light is accurate it looks ok. It is a little heavy on IR which may mean some heat at the lower canopy heights? Hold your hand back to the light and see if it gets hot at different distances. if it does get hot that distance will be too close for the plants.
