BAG APPEAL:****
Gorgeous, medium density, goliath buds. Pale green with orange/red hairs and covered in frost, with the main cola and the highest lateral branch buds acquiring shades of pink, red, and purple on the tips. Plenty of resin!
THE GROWTH:*****
I'm still shocked I yielded over two ounces on my first grow using T5s. She didn't take off like a rocket, but definitely found overdrive in the early stages of flowering and never stopped. I imagine in truly skilled hands she could become a MONSTER. She stayed short and compact.
THE SMELL:*****
Onyx is a pungent strain of cannabis. You immediately notice that she gives off a strong fuel/diesel odor with a complex bouquet of berries and piney terpenes. If you concentrate and pay attention you will pick up lemon/lime citrus notes, eucalyptus, and a definite underpinning of garrigue.
THE SMOKE:*****
Smooth, tasty, and rich in complex flavors. There is no doubt that the use of organics seals the deal here.
THE HIGH:****
The buzz starts out quite racy, but it is not paranoia-inducing. It levels off into a comfortable high - very clear and energetic. It is very potent, particularly in oil form. It is perfect for the morning, activities requiring creativity and concentration, and great before a tennis match - no stupefying or couch lock effects here. A heady buzz indeed!
