Hey out door growers! just need a quick answer to the following question.

Hows the smell travel in your back yard? im in a rather populated area, houses all round me, i want to start my sweet skunk from sweet seeds, ive only ever been around two out door grows and they wasnt in full flower so i couldn't judge for myself but i just wanna get an idea before i go putting a skunk strain out doors and get busted cause someone could smell the dankness, also what are the best things to use to keep the bugs away? im not aware of the dangers outdoors so anything and everything you guys have will make me decide weather to try an outdoor grow or not, cheers in advance guys peace out :peace:

Your neighbors will smell a skunk strain. No question.
Awwh damn :( thanks piggy! guess ill save the bean for next grow, really wanted to have a crack at outdoors though, can't recommend a low smelling strain?

Nirvana's Northern Lights is supposed to be a low odor strain :)

That is true, however it is generally an indoor strrain, maybe something with NL in it. I grew some Pineapple Kush once that didn't smelll much, Neither did the Purple OG.

Just sayin my opinion

Peace

Eek

as ive just found out Smoker haha ive been looking up low odor strains and NL is at the top of the list every time, wouldnt know if the NL x BB is low odor as well? its fairly new so i cant find much on it, looks like an amazing strain :D

The smell travels most at night, So if you have any neighbours who go to work early they will probebly catch a wiff here and there during the late flower stage. Plant a bunch of flowers and other scented plants around your plant or plants and that should do the trick to help mask the smell and help conceal your prized ganga plants.

Cheers Medicated :) i only have the one neighbor im really worried about and yes they leave early for work the other two im not so worried about, im really keen to chuck this sweet skunk out side like im really trying to hold back till i get some soiled answers haha its hard, ill pop down the local hardware over the weekend and see what they have in the range of strong smelling flowers :smoke:

The garden flower mix seed packages is all I used last yr. Different kinds of plants all attract benificial pollinators, Look great and smell sweet enough to hide the smell of cannabis or fuse the smell together with theirs. No one questioned me at all and I will be doing that again this yr for my sweet seeds Cream Mandarin and Blackjack auto's that im growin in the garden this yr. Gonna have to Low stress train (LST) them to help with concealment. Hope any of this helps good luck K.I.M.

I've had a similar smell issue with a pair of Critical+2.0 plants growing on my balcony... My solution was to put out a few lavender plants to mask the odour along with some tomato's and nasturtiums to break up the sight-line profile of my girls.
