@robbio have you had a chance to look into amare technologies? The lights I use are two 150s, actual draw 150. With the veg switch only on you can veg a 3X3' area with more pat intensity than T5s at 10". With veg and bloom both on you can flower a 2X2.5' area. Two of these lights equaling 300w total kill it in my 2X4....and their Cree cob fixtures are amazing. Not just cob by itself, but each 100w cob is surrounded by 9 5w diodes. The 450uvb is made for 4X4' flowering space. They also make cobs for 2X4 spaces and larger spaces too. The lights do Daisy chain together AND have brackets for modular arrangements capabilities. Basically plates that hooks tho lights together exactly where u want them in your garden to make best use of the inverse square law. Here's a pic of the two panels in action in my tent. They easily cover corner to corner and the sixteen makes it easier to see the natural color of your girls and diagnose their health. If I squeezed one more cheese xxl in here trained like I did these two I don't see hitting 1GPW being a problem really at all....these lights are amazing and run at very low watts. The girls love them and are almost constantly praying. Nodes stack great so they are not praying for light, but to show me they are in full photosynthesis and happy as can be

What's the retail price on those Amare panels by the way?
U can get the panels I have for 400$ or with Cree chips for $500. The 450uvb is just under 1200$. In my eyes it's worth every penny. The growth rates and bud formation/colors/trich production I'm getting are phenomenal. The girls love them. They don't run hot. 5 year bumper to bumper warranty. I've completed a full frost under them but a glitch lst my thread so I've not pot up a review. Waiting to finish this grow to get all the results and numbers in order.

Okay, I see. I guess the price is about comparable to the HS1s, same coverage area but more power consumption. Not that the power usage is that high, either way.

Just curious. Sounds like some serious equipment. I'm looking forward to seeing the results.:peace:

Thanks medi! They are some beast! I'm on day 46 so I'm pretty much in swell mode from here on out. Looking great so far, peeped in a second ago. Things are going crazy in there! Every day and every time I look at them after like 6 hrs or more I'm like wow....lol
