you just need a pump that is big enough to get water from the rez down a water line to all the plants via drip emitters(for a 4x4 table with 4 plants in 5 gal smarties i used a 250GPH pump). so from the pump run either 1/2" or 3/4" tubing either down the middle of the plants or outside depending on setup. then stab in 1/4" straight barbed connectors into the larger tubing and run 1/4" hose from the connector to a drip stake or emitter that is stuck in the medium around the plant base. then obviously a timer set to run that pump for X amount of time needed to moisten the medium X amount of times in the day. the drip emitters are used to control the water flow as well as the time you run the pump. this is obviously not the only way and may not even be the right way but it is the way i have done it and taught quite a few others to do it too all with fair success. "grower skill plays LARGE role"Okay, say I want to use a drip system. Do I have to buy a special slow drip water pump or something?
I remember Stitch telling me that he only uses coco and that it was the best medium, too. I keep hearing good things about it. I won't lie, I am after some increased yields this time around, lol.
I can finally give you more +Rep and you deserve it! Seriously, super helpful, all the time. Thanks bro! I'm scoping his DP ABB grow right now.
