ive been in and out of town and the last several days the site has been down but its good to be back.

looks like things have been moving along very nicely in your garden. I too am unable to open the pics as of now but things are glistening thats for sure!!!

are you still having issues with the OG Clone??

SGA!!! I've missed you, man!

The clone has finally stabilized, this is the first time I've been able to log in, in the last week or so.

Little update on what I'm doing: on the hunt for a particular photo strain. 2 actually.

Fire OG pheno and a potent/unique/good yielding/commercial suitable strain.

Anyways, I am going to try my hand at breeding and would like any recommendations on a good commercial photo period to start with.

Strictly speaking from what I can see with the naked eye; this is the best auto I have grown yet. The bag appeal and trichome coverage is most deffinately there! It looks like it is dropping wet and when I shine a flashlight on it, it literally looks like a oozing, wet mass. Best way to describe it: looks like it was left outside in a blizzard and is slowly melting and would be wet to the touch. The smell is beautiful, first you smell a grape like smell (some might say berries), but it is very noticeable and identifiable, to me it smells like purple Kool aid and if you ruffle the branches or disturb the buds, she emits the odour of burning kush. Like a bowl of dank being smoked.

Based upon what I can see, best auto I have grown as of yet. No wonder TD has such a reputation! I definitely have a Indy leaning pheno. No more that 7 fingers to a leaf (2 being tiny) and they are very wide and broad leaves, fat ass fingers!

I wish I could show you all what I am seeing. Maybe I am just being biased because it is my own plant, but she looks so damn beautiful! Like how parents all think their children are beautiful, lol. To me, its bag appeal is superior to anything I have ever seen. Maybe the purple LEDs are flattering its appearance, I dunno. Chopping in 6 days, will keep y'all posted.

TD is looking very lovely!!!! im looking forward to the harvest!!!

for breeding i know its typically best to go with strains that arent too diluted or mixed yet. if you can ever find something like a nice landrace sativa and a super heavy indica then cross those together. ive never done much breeding or intintial breeding lol but look up some landrace strains and thats a great place to start.:smokebuds:

so now that you have been using the LED for a while what are you current thoughts on it now?? (im still waiting on your harvest before i purchase lol :twist

Okay, my opinion on the LED is as follows: the LED is PERFECT in almost every aspect.... Almost. Temps are never an issue, penetration is not an issue (all buds are rock hard), quality is top notch, but yield is lacking. I spoke with one of my buddies who grow commercial (large 2 story warehouse with 20+ 250square foot rooms and concentration/refining, air-sealed lab) and he said they just did a run with LEDs and these new type of flourescents, they also found that while LED provides great quality buds that it was lacking in yield. I find the same to be true, as well. The new flourescents are apparently only good for veg. He actually FaceTimed me last night and showed me the entire warehouse when no one else was there (stupid), it was incredible, Mazarati in the garage, lol.

So the only thing that LED seems to be lacking is its yield capability.

I've been using this stuff called 'killer tea' and I've given her 2 doses of 'Purple Maxx' (1ml each time). Can anyone enlighten me as to why my buds smell of grape soda? It is so strong and recognizable that I am thinking it must be artificial.
