New Grower Plant Help Please

Hello,

I was just wondering if any of you guys can help me out here?.

1.) I think this plant is around 4 days old today and cant see the second set of leafs yet is this normal?

.) I'm not sure if that's the next set starting to pop through in the middle of the plant now can anyone confirm this please?.

i give it a day or so see if she does show them,iv just had one pop out the ground with only one leave so it look like it a no go for my one :no:, your one look much better then mine brv,im not buy and more pick and mix seeds just not working for me,good luck hope she pull thought brv Kudo

i'm better to let it grow for a few more days it seems to be going slow how old would u say this plant is as im saying 4 days old but my others are 4 days ols and they have there leaves?.

I'd give it another day or two. What kind of soil are you using? Doesn't look like it has enough perlite in it.

Your soil is likely the problem. All mix is considered a "hot" mix in that it contains a high amount of nutrients in the form of compost and worm castings. Auto seedlings don't like hot mixes and stunting of the seedlings can result. Best to either start them in Light Mix and transplant to All Mix once they get established or hollow out the center of the All Mix and fill it with Light Mix so the seedling can start out in a cooler mix and grow into the hot mix once it's bigger.

all my other ones are growing ok with all mix just this one unless its younger than the rest of them all the rest have there first set of leaves?.

its maybe younger than I thought as all mines broke the soil on different days can that maybe be what's up with it?

Some strains, or even different phenotypes from the same stain, can tolerate hot soil mixes better than others.
