Plant Problem! New Grower!

Molasses is is a good source of Calcium (and lots of `good` sugars aswell). Any health food shop should stock it! :peace:

I think i'll just get bio bizz alg a mic or any other calmag i find in the store
do i need anything else than grow, bloom and calmag for good results?
Thanks again! :)

Sniper, yes that's true, but it has always done the trick for me. And as Krug kindly pointed out, something like molasses does help. I just don't feel good about recommending things that cost a fortune when basic pharma items are just as good and cost pence.
But, yes, point taken and noted.

Those are the basics and will serve you well. Singing to them always is a winner and not over watering. I'm sure you will have a fine harvest.

In a nutshell.....

a/ lots of good light
b/ gentle watering
c/ Grow/bloom nutes + cal/mag
d/ lots of TLC
e/ singing
f/ nice temps/humidity fresh air

equals = top meds. It isn't rocket science. Heck, if a thick penguin can manage it, the I'm sure you can. Go on my son, be a winner. Keep in touch with it all and we will celebrate your harvest together. All the best eP.

Thanks a lot for the help mate :)
btw what's TLC ? :)

It is what I give my worker Meerkats. (As if)

Tender Loving Care.

btw, what's btw? only joking!

Enjoy eP.

alright bro thanks a lot for the help, that's it for now ^^
i'll post again if i have more questions

Wow lots of business since I last checked in! Cool!!
I use the CaMg+ product and Epsom salts and molasses. Sometimes it's just the simpler thing to do, adding the pre-made product. When I know more and get better at sensing what the plants are telling me I try to use the simpler ingredients. Finer control and easier on the pocket book. You pay for the convenience.
Peace!

Very true 3w, very true...:Sharing One:

 Wow, info-lanche!! Thank you assorted dewds- :d5: LOL!.... Assulin, my philosophy is prevention is better that curing,... regular use of a dedicated Ca-Mg product is the best overall answer, for both prevention and treatment and covering both Ca and Mg bases,... and it's true, sometimes the sheer quirkiness of auto's/pheno's can make them still go deficient if they are getting some regularly! We see it all the time,... Our homies here have covered the bases nicely for alternatives as well,... keep in mind what I've said about them-- epsom salts are Mg (and Sulphur) only, molasses has Ca, Mg (even some K), but it lacks concentration, and sometimes folks don't want the extra sugar in there, depending on the timing of things...(already mentioned dosing conc. for them previously).... That BioBizz Algi-blah blah isn't the right stuff for this,...not that it's a bad product, but I saw zero info about exactly what's in it... looks like more of an amino acid/micro nutrient supp',...? *** There are lots of choices for Ca-Mg supp's; most are pretty reasonably priced... I use the same brand Blessed' suggested, and it's about $11/qt,... that same company makes another hydro-specific formula, but I prefer the first for soil because of it's fermented sugar base (a bit more nutritious),...
do i need anything else than grow, bloom and calmag for good results?
:coffee2:a list of other good stuff's would make your frontal lobe collapse!! Yes, there are tons of bloom boosters, resin enhancers, microbe inoculants, on and on,... new growers should try to keep it pretty simple,...(keep in mind that a huge part of your results will start with superior genetics!!)... :check:-grow/bloom nutes, Ca-Mg, Superthrive/B1 (for shock and great veg'ing stimulation), something with mixed metals (Fe-Mn-Cu-Zn) is prevention prudent,... Fox Farms Big Bloom (something of a misnomer actually) is a nice nutritious gentle supplement (NPK #'s are in the decimals!)--covers several micro-nutes,... Uhhh,... LOL! it gets overwhelming quickly! Look around at the top growers here, and see/ask what and how they are using certain products,... good brother eP is sooo right-- your wallet can get sucked dry the then some in a hurry if you really get down to it! Pick a couple new things wisely during your successive grows,... what will give you best returns for the $! ...But for beginners, just covering the basics for balanced nutrition and some select supp's for prevention/treatment as mentioned is an excellent start,...
