Hey Guys

I received 5 free seeds with my order. The bag had a little sticker on it showing "Shortstuff Purple Amnesia". They are 32 days old , 16 in's tall and are showing absolutely no sign of sex as opposed to my Buddha Magnum auto's at the same age.

I am new to auto's, am an outdoor grower and had terrible weather for the first couple of weeks of their lives. They are starting to fire now but looking at them, they look like standard photo young'uns to me. My question is to those who have grown PA's, can the sex take 5 -6 weeks to show ? I know it will may be hard to answer as most of you are indoor growers, just thought I'd throw it out there because if they are not auto's, I want them out of their pots and into the ground asap. Any comments appreciated. :peace:

He Vas,
I think your good.
Pictures would help.
(Don't worry about posting runty looking plants, we all have to deal with on occasion)
Mine didn't really begin to flower until a bit later.
But I am thinking for most growers, this is going to be a mid- to long flowering pheno, so it should begin to flower in earnest pretty soon.

Yeah, those are looking fine.
Mine did not really begin to preflower until day 35 ish
So, I wouldn't fret if it were me.
Nice that the bugs down there don't appear to have an appetite for your babies!

Thanks GB ! I just checked my data, they are 35 days today exactly, no calyxes forming at all. I'll hang in there for now.

I live on an organic property and we have alot of beneficial insectory weeds & plants that attract a good population of predator bugs. There is always lady beetles, wasps, etc hanging around. I love watching the ladybugs methodically scan each leaf !

I made a mistake last post, these 5 PA’s (?), are 37 days today, are all now 75-80cm, all looking healthy, massive leaves, good branching, the only fault is the tip stems are a bit rubbery. Barely showing sex, but pretty sure I have 2 male and 1 fem, the other 2, probably determine next day or two. Are “feminized” beans know to turn out male ?

Plant pictured looks fine.
I have not heard of any issues with the PA.
If indeed, a few of them are male, take pictures and send them to Shortstuff.
I am sure they will want to know, so that they can investigate.

WOW VD....I'm concerned about you getting males..I just ordered some PA's from Short Stuff...I'm working on my next(2nd) grow. Was planning 2 PA's and 2 Blackberry Kush..Figure that will fill my 4x4 tent..

I'll be interested in see what Short Stuff has to say..

Thanks:peace:
