New Grower Question about hermy's!!

Just curious, but am i right to say when a MJ plant shows its sex it'll appear on the stalk first?? Correct?? So I'm wondering if a female happened to hermy, would you notice the pollen sacks on the stalk first??
Been slowly removing dead leaves from my DP Blueberry and just keeping an eye out in case they hermy due to stress. . Doing great so far but wondering how the process will go if a plant did hermy . .

some hermies will show as balls on stalks n stems , later (useually) ones show as nanners (banana looking) amungst the buds
