@Greenleaf Nutrients

In your FAQ I found this.

Also, a few products cannot be mixed in with MEGA CROP during our manufacturing process, for example Sweet Candy has high amounts of carbohydrates/sugars, so it is best to leave it as a standalone product. However, as a separate product, Sweet Candy and MEGA CROP work together fine and can be mixed.

So do you mean you should not mix the two powders together in water, but it's ok to take both products already dissolved in water and then mix the two solutions together (e.g. dump them both in a reservoir)?

You can mix them straight I believe. Only reason they keep them separate before feeding is that the carbohydrates and sugars in bud candy will be depleted . That's my understanding of it.
Happy growing .

What do you mix them straight? Mix the powders then dissolve? Or mix the two dissolved solutions together?

Just as they state, during their manufacturing they don't want to or can't mix sugars/carbs, which absorb and hold water, with the broad-spectrum nutrient powder. Dry powder mixers would gunk up, and also mixing sugars to high-grade nutrients is just asking for microbial growth. Regarding end-users mixing, just as they say, "Sweet Candy and MEGA CROP work together fine and can be mixed."

I missed the "can not be mixed during manufacturing". Stoner moment. But all good now. Thanks.

I would presume you can mix mixable MegaCrop products however you want; whatever is easiest. I just add the powders to feed water container. Why would adding fully-dissolvable powders be any different from your adding the same stuff as fluid concentrates?

I also presume it is best not to premix and have mixed powders and concentrated/not fully-diluted mixed solutions sitting around before use.

Hey I'm good now. I had a stoner moment. I know some liquid products should not be mixed together then added to water. You have to mix them in the solution instead. Was thinking something like this might apply to the MC when I first read about not mixing MC and SC on their website, but that was them just saying they cant mix certain products when manufacturing.

I weigh out MEGA CROP then add other powders in, nuke 1 cup water for 1 1/2 minutes add nutes stirring till dissolved. I then pour that into 1 5 gallon bucket stir then I box in another 5 gallon water do this 3 or 4 times ph feed.

But wouldn't nuking the water for a min and a half kill the microbes in the megacrop?
