Live Stoner Chat Question for the experts on light schedule

What you talking about @MedCzech? The Fast Buds Green Crack Auto and the Zambeza Blueberry Autos I have grown are every bit as good as the photoperiods of those strains I have grown. THC, flavor (maybe even better a close call), terpenes and yield. It is true that the yields are a little less but they only take 2/3 of the time. This gives you an extra one or two grows per year in the same space which really overcomes the lower individual grow yield. Both autos are top rosin yielders. In fact I am planning on growing the green crack auto again in the next grow.

Ok, don't shoot, don't shoot!:shooty:

I had a feeling a few of you would agree that point. I never said there was a big difference. In fact, I think the difference is less than 5 or 6% in my findings. More like between 2 an so 4%. That is nearly negligible at best anyways. A few of the top notch, best photos I ever grew versus the best autos, they just don't compare for me, but that's just me. Fast Buds Green Crack is in my tent right now. Let's hope she's as good as you say.

I am not knocking autos, otherwise I wouldn't be here. I think we can get the yields and flavors even better if we keep learning together. Sorry bro:bighug:

i agree. if u aint tasted the true flavour of an auto. u aint growing them right fact!!! . iv had many mates now smoke my auto weed. and all. comments back are on the smell and flavour. and several have said its the best weed they have ever smoked. autos are just as good as photoperiod plants but better. cause there faster. no doubt autos are the future and they do deliver and do what there seed info does. if grown correctly. happy growing every1;)

How was the green crack?

Me vs 00 Seeds Autos CocoDTW600w

I will say this again guys, the difference is minor, and probably a lot of you younger guys can't really relate unless you were growing photos twenty years ago like us old dudes.
There is ruderalis gene mixed in with these genetics. They are getting much better at minimizing this and only getting effects from the auto part of its genes, but still there has been a very small difference. You can argue all you like man. It's all subjective anyways.
My opinion is just that. I told you what my findings are and I will stand by those because I know they are real. I am not the only one on this site who believes this as well.

Here she is:

The whole grow is documented here:

Ok here is the data I was looking for if you can believe it.

Based on this information at 24" height a 2'x2' square is all that is viable for the plant. to get an average to work with I will add the diagonals 137+351+530+293+111=1422/5=285 and 128+370+530+353+128=1509/5=301 285+301=586/2=293 So we get 293 umoles/sec. per light times 2 lights = 586 umoles/sec. 586 µmols x 60 seconds x 60 minutes x 12 hours = 25,315,200 µmols
25315200/1000000=25.31 moles DLI. This means we are barely in the range for cannabis. The spectrum on the Vipar is heavy blue:

This is not so good for flower. I would recommend you add one of @BigSm0 autocobs and ask if he has any 2700k or 3000k cobs. this would bump up the moles where you want to be. I would be a better spectrum for flower.

Unfortunately these numbers are so easily manipulated. I’d love to see the results with a licor or apogee par meter.

I was hoping that is what you had "Real Numbers". Even using the ones they posted 12 hours does not meet the DLI guidelines.

That is how I am doing it. Just using a par meter to make sure each light is properly placed so I can sontrol spectrum and intensity at the same time. I did the math from ththe charts they gave me also. The two figures weren't actually that far apart, probably due to the fact that the lights are fairly new I am using.
I did find out that the two cobs I am using, which have different reflectors, that the plastic cone refector seems to work better(higher par at 1m) than the glass lens reflector on the other cob with the same power.

I’m happy to hear you are using the chart. Most think it’s just plug and play but with the different spectrums it’s important. Which meter do you have?
