Okay,
Once again I'm doing an auto grow(my last attempt got root rot, first time aeroponic)this time it's pyramid "auto NYC". She's at approximately day 19 and already half the height of my last auto. She is starting to get a deficancy and I'm guessing its cal/mag related. Also she's doing a strange thing with her main stem,it seems to being trying to push out of top of the grow media(I think she's telling me to repot today. I've got her in a little hempy pot and she gets general hydroponic full set nutes at low concentration(325ec last feed)also ph was at 5.6 but that's when the spots became pronounced. Any help, suggestions or thoughts are apriciated! Thanks AFN image.jpg

Oops here is leaf close ups

Is that basicly planted in soil? If it is a ph of 5.6 is low.

Looks like it could be cal, but the bigger issue and almost definitely the cause for this is your pH. Here is what you should aim for aim, imo:

Soil: 6.5
Soil-less (peat moss): 6.3
Hydro/Coco: 5.8

Good luck! :smokebuds:

No it's not in soil, that's just a top cover of peat/coco...under is just perlite and vermiculite...yes Ph ...I have test strips and GH liquid tester...both aren't that accurate.

Well thanks Romeo & twig,I think I'm giving her a little too much acid..I'll ease up the ph and put her in a bigger pot. This is my first time trying "hempy" style so I'm experimenting a bit. I'll post some update pics later.

Best of luck mate! Those ph charts can solve lots of problems. :karma Cloud:

You should be good around 5.8 - 6.0 with the perlite/vermiculite blend Icentribe. That looks like the beginning to magnesium deficiency so you may have been just barely on the low side of her likes. The rest of the plant looks real healthy though so I would raise it just a tough and see how she responds. You may have give her a little too much nutes as well on that last feeding and caused a bit of lockout as well. She is very green, the more I look. Maybe just some straight water with a touch of cal/mag(like 10ml/gallon) @ 5.8 and see how she responds.

Best of luck bro! Good grow karma to ya.

Hi again, just thought I'd update my plants status. I put her in a new pot filled with "low dirt"media and watered it down well with distilled water 6.0 all just before her dark period. She showed almost no stress from a rather rough transplant(had to cut the hempy pot at bottom with box cutter)and is growing much more rapidly, plus she showed her first flowers. Needless to say I'm stoked for her, here's some pics.
