I use acetone for mine ..or the grain I did the 'quick' freeze method using an electric ice cream maker bowl in the freezer and a 'short' wash...I wasn't as impressed with this method as I usually cook my acetone and weed mix for awhile then strain...I think the oil is stronger that way I also heard the 'quick' wash does not get all the thc...but who knows? all I know I was disapointed in the 'quick' wash results compared to my slow cook method... just my non-cents worth...but I'm still smokin it!

Freeze at least a few hours but I do overnight when I can, if its going black then the wash is probably to long, when I do a short wash and strain real quick then filter with one coffee filter it still comes out blonde.Nice! Seems all my friends 1st washes go black
3 coffee filters and one screen filter and still turns black
How long do you place the buds back in the freezer for?

don't sweat if you don't get the honey oil ..nothing wrong with a little black (actually) dark green oil... I'm smokin some now (my oiler) anyone make the 'red' oil yet?

You shake for 30 seconds? How do you drain it then?
I only shake for 15 seconds, and I drain using a metal screen strainer
