he used 91% Isopropyl Alcohol, thats what i used also...

The higher the percentage, the better. Walmart sells the 91% for a buck or two a qt... I have used it with BailerBud's method and had no discernible alcohol taste. Good hash too.

I've done more than a few ISO runs now although, i much prefer the BHO now after making both and learning how to properly purge...
I used 91% iso in the pictures below. Depending on the strain, it could budder up on you (texture i prefer) or harden up and turn to "shatter"... I've gotten both results...
I've also used everclear but it can get expensive to use if you are trying to make a lot...and in my state it's illegal so i have to have out of state friends send me bottles. If you have everclear or access to it, use it at is is 99% alcohol and is food grade. meaning a better hash taste.
If you want I can make a how to video but only if you really want a visual (which i needed to get started) Once you get the hang of it you can have primo Iso in matter of hours. the trick is in the timing of the wash, filtering and the purge methods.

thanks spelsylver! i wanna learn how to make BHO sometimes but QWISO seemed to be the easiest and cheapest way to make hash that i found.. :smokebuds:
ok so i was cracking open a bigger cola i had and it had a little bit of mold in the middle.. there wasnt a lot of it but it was white.. i wasnt planning on smoking it so i was wondering if it would be okay to make QWISO with it? thanks for any input
I would do a water cure on that moldy bud first and then do the qwiso wash. Mold freaks me out! I made a how to video just for you if you need a visual. Do you want me to post it or do you get the gist of it?
ive read abt doing water cures.. but i forgot to mention it was only abt a 1/8oz of bud that was infected. and that wasnt even covered in mold.. just had a little bit.. i have trimming i was planning on making QWISO out of.. you think it would be cool to add the 1/8 or better to just toss it? thanks for the advise spels! this my first time with any budrot/mold
