Awesome Taviddude!! I'm still amazed at how easy it is. I agree BHO is better, but my living situation doesn't allow me to do anything "unseemly" cuss in the eyes of others outside.
hey guys just made my first oil ever.:booya:i used 99%iso and 2 zips of some freezeland trim ..View attachment 129929View attachment 129928 its now like a green/yellow.black oil..i imagine cuz i let it sit too long in the iso.. Once i got over the fear of blowing myself up..its easier to make then i thought.
Handling it is much harder then i thought though..
i had such a hard time handling it and removing it from my slow cooker, such a mess. super sticky. i have some still in the slow cooker but didnt even get it out yet, really hard to even scrape it out, was using a plastic card..but its suppper sticky. I wish it turned out more oily. i just to sticky to even handle.
i need more practice before i attempt a nice batch of medicinal oil ala rick simpson.
Anyways Great Thread Guys ,,Thanks..
Ps. I would love to mix a tiny bit of this into some bubble..mmmmmmmm

Hey Butters, I bet that was some potent stuff, huh? Your end result might have been oily from the trim sitting in the ISO too long. You mentioned you evaporated it in your slow cooker - did you just use that as your dish or was the slow cooker turned on? If it was turned on, the heat will change the consistency of the Qwiso, turning it into more of an oil like you have. Regardless, I'd do a dab of that any day! I say that's a success for your first try! Each batch will get easier and your end result will be more pure with each run that you do.
Here are a few pics of a batch I ran last night / this morning with some buds that JM was kind enough to give me that had a tiny bit of mold on them. Trim and ISO frozen for 24 hours and it was filtered through 6 non-bleached coffee filters.
Warning! not all medical alcohol is consumable internally and may contain traces of poisonous solvents - use easyclear if you cannot find it buy abottle of absinthe for a very special treat (it is 70%+ volume alcohol and psychedelic)
Using Absinthe makes superb tincture and using pure ethanol is great for fractional distillation and a marijuana aftershave as a by product!!!
here's my extractor 3 2ltr bottles 2 coffee filters and a piece of metal screen works perfect it gets the iso off the plant material quick and little to no plant material makes it through to the dish
