I always use old pickle and olive jars. Those big glass ones that hold a full gallon. If you wash them out well you have no idea what they held before. You can buy them cheaper filled with pickles or something than you can when they are empty. Go figure.

I bought two jars of pickles the other day for $2. It was at some discount grocery store. They were close to expiration or something.
