Thanks man! Just weighed it in at 14.8g (minus a nug that would've prob been .6-.8g) it's been off the plant for about a week now, was hanging till the outsides got crunchy then got cut and put into the Tupperware with room for air, and then its being opened and mixed at least once a day for now. Buds are no longer crunchy.


So all in all when it dries a bit more it, It'll probably be a solid 1/2oz.

great looking buds you got there, but just to answer you question i dont think it was worth it topping, 14gs from a think different i heard expect at least 2oz on even a bad grow with lots of mistakes. not doubting you growing skills cus you can grow buddy, alot cant even make it thru a entire grow so im not saying your skills are flawed at all but i think if you where to regrow the TD in the same pot,same soil, same nutes but dont top it at all youll end up with at least double the yeild you have now. hope my post didnt rub you the wrong way just wanted to be honest and say i dont think topping helped you at all when it comes to final yield.

hey, thanks! YEa, no offense taken. I am going to let the next one which is on day one (sprouted) today go without touching it, in a 3 gallon felt smart pot. This time, it is under a 400w Vipar (from ebay... should be at least as powerful as my 240w htg that this was flowered under) for it's entire life. And also, in a tent with the front open, so 5 panels of mylar reflecting the light as well.

Also, I think the lst definitely helped since it was topped, but whether or not the topping helped is a different story. Needs more testing. Only thing that sucks is not getting to see huge soda-can sized colas because they are all tied horizontally growing upwards.

For me, it was never about wet/dry weight and never will be. Any weed you can grow and free yourself from the bag man, down the street is the best weed you can get. I have to rep ya for thinking different!! Topping on autos IS a no no for yield though. If you can out do your last weight on this next grow, I would have to say.....either way, more or less...you are growin your own and thats all that really matters!!! Plus, dont forget to have fun doin it!
