Ripper runs Mega Crop

I have done this just to see what it would do...I did it on a Blueberry by sensible seeds (5..56oz) . I I kept taking of most fan leaves, then some during flower and another major one about 2 weeks before harvest ..I did not see any draw backs to doing this. However, I was unfamiliar of the grow habits of this particular strain. but the yield was very decent. What I have been doing with the rest of my grows , is heavy defoliation with no adverse effects in my opinion and still pulling decent yields.

What's the Benefits of it?
Last few plants of mine I've just let alone and I've noticed lower yeild stile fire smoke but my next ones I'm gonna go a bit different with them?
