Update---happy Friday to everyone! This pic is from Lollitas cola that was chopped off 6 days ago, she really shrunk up drying---not bad for a rookie! I'm very glad I only chopped the top off, I would have taken the whole plant at once if I didn't get support from other members. I have lots of clear trich's on these bottom buds that need to cloud up!! It's soooo hard to keep my hands off, but I am waiting--------Looking good man! I’m patiently waiting myself, dying to try my first run haha. Keep the pics coming, I’m like a sponge right now trying to soak up harvest knowledge lol!

She wasent ready. Way to early. Never go by the breeders timeline. I've only had maybe 2 plants finish around their timelines and they where stunted little plants. When you cut early you loose all your density and loose around 2/3 of bud size after drying and curing. Try not to focus so much on the trichomes. I did the same thing early on and almost always cut early in fear of losing potency. First focus on the plants looks. Wait till all white hairs have gone. Then some thick white ones will pop up here and there that's a sighn she's nearing the end. Once they receded and go away you will see your buds really start to swell and harden. Now's when you lower humidity to 40% and don't feed her as much as the dry air and less water makes them produce more resin. Now you can check your trichs to see where their at and they should be around 70% cloudy 30% amber. Now i flush and I let them go to 50/50. And bam done. You shouldent loose anymore than 1/4 of bud size during dry and cure. And they taste profile will be the best around that point. But that's what I do many do things diffeently everyone has their preference. I find this gives me the best ballence of taste,potency,bud density and even ballenced high. We all cut down early when we first started growing autos bc of breeders claims.Update---happy Friday to everyone! , i'd say 60% clear, 30% cloudy, 10% amber.? The pistols have almost all turned brown, kinda pink, very few white hairs left on the very bottom buds. i'll turn that humidifier down a bit to prevent that bud rot, thanks. I've herd things about those breeders timelines
That 6 day dried bud was very good from Lollita, should be some tasty strong smoke after she has cured! How about those Raptors------Till tomorrow----- Thanks again for all the help-----
