Old Reviews Roots organic is horrible

I had purchased a bag of Roots Original from my local store and all three of my Reserve Privada seeds did not sprout. I have used OF in the past and all went well. So a Roots represenative came to my area and gave me alot of free stuff. Very nice of them however I have a ton a fungus nats and I'm not happy. So far I would definitely stay with Fox Farms and do not buy Roots. Bad stuff.

I love the roots original, but I do agree I do get gnats every now and then and need to use dunks to get rid of them, roots does require added perlite, otherwise it likes to compact quite quickly, and some lime for added ph buffer. I will add that I don't sprout seeds directly in it, I use rapid rooters. Sorry you had a bad experience. It is a fairly hot soil.
