Cara

Gearing up towards 12/12, will probably switch the light cycle this weekend. I decided not to train her so I can get a good feel of how she grows more naturally. I have a couple more of her seeds and will save that for later grows.

And Queenie is working on getting better. She's definitely improving and her ph has been stable for about 5 days now. I'll get some pics later. We had a lot of problems, including a huge loss of root mass after I flushed her with Flora Kleen.

The great news is that she's growing a good amount of new root, and she's looking better overall. I'll try to get some good pics when I get home this morning.

And this is the Little Paradise with the new tent up. I'll get it set up soon!

So, I have a big update today!

Queenie. She's working on rebuilding her root mass. She's gone through a lot. :(

First, her ph went out of whack and Helping Hand was away for a week and I forgot to check it. At first, I thought she was suffering from heat stress, so I started backing out lights, etc. It kept getting worse and it was a few days before I realized the problem was a very high ph.

She was moved into a new container with Boomerang to bounce her back. That didn't work and her roots became brown and weird, looking gooey. After 3 to 4 days of no results with Boomerang and displaying very slimy roots, I flushed her with Flora Kleen and added silica, calmag and very light food, to a total of 450 ppm.

That was about a week ago and here's how she was last night.

And Cara is still getting ready for blooming. I know a lot of people are against defoliation, but I read a very good article on it and decided to give it a go with Cara. ;)

And, the star of today's update is Clona, who's doing fantastic! Look at her!

And today...

Queenie is definitely working on improving, and she's still pretty massive! Her roots are much bigger today than they were yesterday. :)

And her ph is still pretty stable.

Cara was turned around and had some leaves removed on both sides to allow for better light penetration. Her roots are breathtaking!
