So, I have a big update today!
Queenie. She's working on rebuilding her root mass. She's gone through a lot.
First, her ph went out of whack and Helping Hand was away for a week and I forgot to check it. At first, I thought she was suffering from heat stress, so I started backing out lights, etc. It kept getting worse and it was a few days before I realized the problem was a very high ph.
She was moved into a new container with Boomerang to bounce her back. That didn't work and her roots became brown and weird, looking gooey. After 3 to 4 days of no results with Boomerang and displaying very slimy roots, I flushed her with Flora Kleen and added silica, calmag and very light food, to a total of 450 ppm.
That was about a week ago and here's how she was last night.
And Cara is still getting ready for blooming. I know a lot of people are against defoliation, but I read a very good article on it and decided to give it a go with Cara.
And, the star of today's update is Clona, who's doing fantastic! Look at her!
