Time to get the introduction out of the way.
20+yrs ago, I had some experience growing outdoors w/an old hippie I used to know. Then I met this girl, had a baby, got an ultimatium about growing up and being responsible. So I cut my hair, got a 9-5, and as the days ground on, the years flew past. Now the kids are grown, the wife re-married, and I'm gonna go back to being me.
Living in suburbia, outdoors isn't a viable option. Local draconian cannabis laws make stealth a high priority. Leaving indoors as my best option.
Space constraint. The area I have chosen is in the basement. 50 sq ft. 6.5'x7.5'x7.5'.
My exhaust will vent into a crawlspace under the porch. Fresh air is thru a 24" passive vent at the floor.
I made a list of all the equipment I wanted. Added up the cost, and threw that list away. Then I made a list of the minimum stuff I would need. Set a budget, and started collecting.
Fast forward to the present...The room is almost finished, the budget is shot to hell, and I'm the proud parent of a handful of new babies.
