Sawdust is good at absorbing moisture and cheap, would it be worth it to use it as a sort of silica pouch alternative ( those sachets you get with moisture sensitive products)

i was thinking of separating the sawdust from the harvest with say a layer of sawdust covered with kitchen towel, placing this in the bottom of a cure box.

I know.. i know.. i am only 30 days into my grow..eggs and chickens !! But I am bored !!!

I don't know if that would have any benefit for drying because most of the moisture will disipate into the air anyway. But give it a try and see what happens.

Use mesquite.... bbq pot, right? Rice also absorbs moisture, and don't forget these are the pinnacle - what you're trying to emulate... http://www.bovedapacks.com/
