Hi folks,
I just started a new grow of Dr.Feelgoods in my 2x4x5 tent.
The seedlings just sprouted this morning under my 2 new TS1000W's
I've ordered a PAR meter on line to optomise my grow and should get it through the holidays.
My question is, until then I presently have both QB set at their regular intensity and hanging 28 inches above the seedlings.
Advice?
Once I get the PAR meter, what is ideal par for seedlings into early veg.
Happy holidays to all!

Good move that meter will prove invaluable......

Right now I have a few seedlings and they started at 250 and have moved up to 300ish range ...... I started my light at 40” above and 50% and actually got some burn with Gold Glue but 24K no problem so I switched locations and all is fine ......

To answer your question there is no specific number as all are different but 250-300 good start and upwards of 750 when in full flower, some strains even higher numbers ......

You can check out the plant here https://www.autoflower.org/threads/24k-strawberry-nugs-gold-glue-los-sip-grow.74902/page-12

GOOD LUCK with the new tool.

I think you already helped me answered that question somehow :smoking: Here is something i want to make a plus. The main feature of TS1000 is plug-n-play, you don't have to use a PAR meter to adjust their light power, it's kind of complicated if you did so:smoker1:

The best and simplest way to adjust it is to move the lighting distance. :bighug:

Recommended Hanging Distance Above Plants

Seedling: 24'' Germination: 24''-30'' Veg: 18''-24'' Flower: 12''-18''

Recommended Lighting Time

Veg: 18/6(on/off) or 20/4(on/off) Flower: 12/12(on/off)

Here is a YouTuber names TheCloneRanger, he grows under TSW2000, which is a bigger version of TS1000, you can check his video for a grow reference:pimp:

Glad you have figured out but ...... Those are general guidelines and good starting points but curious as seedling is closer than germination.

I have no regrets on getting the PAR meter, it did help me avoid a disaster.
I started my seedlings at 26'' and was getting leaves going pale...was it P deficiency?...too much light?...who knows...
So I toned down the TS 1000's to 100W each (using 2 QB's in my 2x4 tent).
Raised the boards to 30 inches and the plants are doing better.

I do agree that you have to adapt the lights to what ever the plants can sustain.
These boards are very bright.
The problem is , that to keep them at full brilliance and raise them.
The tent is only 5 feet high, and with the fan and filter in the way, I can't go any higher.
So the only other solution to keep the temps down and get a decent PAR is to tone down the boards.

I love my new boards, they just need a little getting use to ( especially during seedling stage).

When I get back home this weekend, I might just put together a height chart vs PAR at full 150W.
Followed by a WATT chart to PAR output.
Many can afford a $20 Watt meter on Amazon, not all can afford a PAR meter.

The information could prove very valuable to members with the TS1000 boards (especially in a 2x4 tent like mine).

Just thinking out load:shrug:
