Seed Stockers Seedstockers Gelato 41 (solo cup challenge)

Hi all and to my Seedstockers Solo Cup Challenge. The plan is to grow 3 of the Gelato 41 (auto) and pick the best (or least bad ) nearer the time.
I have started one already and she stuck her head out for the first time today The other 2 are in glasses of water soaking overnight and will be going in Root Riot cubes tomorrow.
I still have a full tent at the moment and I think I still have around 2 weeks till they are all finished They are all photoperiod too, so for the first couple of weeks or so, they will be on a 13/11 light cycle so could be interesting

Another one with the Coco & Pebble mix. Think I'm going to have to seriously rethink my strategy.

Cheers mate yeah I changed from using coco & perlite to the coco pebble mix, and glad I did, as the root growth is so much better with the pebble mix. It's a bit more expensive, around £20 for 50ltr but it's definitely worth it

Day 3
So far so good for the baby gelato

I put the other two I started into Root Riot cubes yesterday, after soaking for 24hrs and one of them has popped up already and the other looks like it should be up and about tomorrow

I usually use the paper towel method to germinate my seeds, so this is the first time I've tried root riot cubes, and I'm really impressed with the germination time I put 6 seeds in cubes yesterday, after soaking for 24hrs, and today 5 have either sprouted, or have a tap root sticking out the bottom.
It's bloody typical though, I still have a full tent, and on a 13/11 light cycle

So the one time I needed them to take there time a little oh well, live and learn. Luckily at least 3 are ready to be chopped, so I'll start on that tomorrow, hopefully, and fingers crossed, I should have the majority taken down by next weekend, we'll see

I don't know what's happened to the 3rd one, she still hasn't germinated
It looks like she's started to, but for some reason she's stalled.

I'll give her another couple of days as hopefully she's just a late bloomer, if not, it'll just be the two Gelato 41's

That's what I thought, some of the posts in this thread I can edit, but others I can't, it's very strange
