Week 2
It was going along quite nicely, but then, old clumsy bollocks strikes again I have been waiting for my final plant to finish up, so I had them sitting on a couple of cat food boxes to be a little closer to the light, and yes, I knocked them both frickin flying The older one was completely out the cup, roots an all, the other not quite as bad. I whammed em back in their pots and thankfully there doesn't seem to be any serious damage, though the older gelato isn't looking as healthy as she did, some leaves have turned a little brown around the edges

And just to really piss me off, the 3rd gelato I started never germinated either so all in All, not the best week but looking on the bright side, things can't get any worse well I hope not.

So far so good for the wee Gelato's
They are both looking healthy and growing nicely only thing is, the older girl (day 20) has started flashing her lady bits already that's a little earlier than I had hoped, but what can you do

No real changes to report The older girl is just at the very start of beginning to flower and her younger (hotter) sister, is gonna b a few days behind her.
I'll start the older one on a pre flower feed from tomorrow and the younger lass a few days later

So far no problems with either Bert or Ernie they are looking healthy and growing well. They are also both in the early stages of flowering now, so I've switched them to a flowering feed of -

Ph'd to around 6.2

It's been a hard bloody choice, and I'm still not 100% sure but I think I'm going to go with the younger shorter one as my battle plant mainly because she has a nicer structure than her big sis, with a bit of potential, I hope It could be a huge mistake, but you never know we shall see in around 40 days

Well I've been having my ups and downs with the little buggers I have them both sitting on cardboard cat food boxes to get em closer to the light, and I didn't realise I'd spilt a bit of feed on the floor and the cardboard soaked it up and they both collapsed. So when I checked on them one morning, I found them both on the bloody floor, again luckily there was no serious damage, just a bit misshapen.
I am trying something different with them now, I've put them both in one gallon fabric pots. I'm hoping it'll stop them drying out so quickly and it'll keep them more stable. We shall see if it helps any

So far so good with the Gelato 41's, both looking healthy and both are chunking up nice I had to remove my battle plant from the 1gal pot I had her in though. Somehow the roots managed to squeeze through the tiny holes in the Solo Cup, then through the soil, and then out the fabric pot

I wasn't expecting that, so I thought I'd better take her out just incase it was construed as cheating I've kept the 2nd Gelato 41 in the other pot and we'll see how she does

Not too much longer now the younger of the two, my ex battle plant, has started to fade a fair bit, colour wise, so it's looking like she'll be the first for the chop. I grew the Seedstockers Gelato 41 feminised version a few months back and that was one of the best smelling strains I've ever had and I was hoping that the Auto version would be the same. I'm happy to report, they are

As usual, I've had my ups and downs with the grow but we got there in the end. I'm slightly disappointed not to be included in the poll, but seeing all the amazing grows everyone has done, I never stood a bloody chance anyway

My 2nd Gelato will be coming down, probably tomorrow.
