Added 10 liters to the rez today and reduced the base nutes by another 20% and upped the bloom nutes by the same. This was my mix for today, remember we are working to achieve half strength base nutes and double strength bloom nutrients.

With my rainwater that took the pH down to 5.19 which I pH up to 6.4 and the EC was 1.80 or 900ppm.

Day 44/32

Just a photo update. Girl is looking good, checked her trichs and they are crystal clear. She drank 3 inches of water over the last 24 hours, which is about 5 liters.

Not starting to smell so sweet, has a deep earthy quality to her aroma and if the tent is left open during lights on she will fill the house with her scent.

Day 45/33

She was down to 1 inch of solution left, so added another 10 liters to the reservoir. This might be my final mix until harvest. It’s called the MedMan method of reducing base nutes by half while doubling the bloom nutes. I have dropped the CM entirely and here is the final mix.

• 0.66gpl MC 6.6g
• 0.50gpl BE 5.0g
• 0.70gpl SC 7.0g

The pH of the rainwater was 6.34 after adding nutes it went down to 5.16 and then pH back up to 6.45. The EC was 1.82 after adding nutrients which is 910ppm. If this 10 liters goes well it will be the final mix till harvest. I did check the trichs and they were still sparkling clear.

That is one wide canopy Hemi. Looks great for what is I think your first scrog. Trichs are looking frost all over too. Is that plant on day 45? I don't know what 45/33 means. If on day 45 she looks like she'll be fast, assuming that is an auto strain.

I need to look in to Med Man. Dropping CMP in late bloom. Reducing base and increase PK.

Day 45/33 was my way of keeping track of how long since flip to 12/12 and how long since first sign of flower. This is a photo mostly indica girl, not an auto strain and she is 45 days from the flip. She is supposed to finish in 60 days of flower and is looking to be right on schedule. This is my first scrog & I have learned so much, can’t wait to move on to my next scrog to fix what I messed up with this one.

I’m not sure to be honest, but the same info can be found here on AFN. I was in a conversation with some growers, possibly from here, and two of them were discussing doubling the bloom boosters and halving the base nutes and they were referring it to the MedMan method. So I picked up on it and started calling it the same not realizing that the MedMan method is a whole method of growing. I did not read everything on that page yet, but in a quick scan saw nothing about messing with bloom nutes. So now I’m not sure where my crazy idea came from, but I’m doing it now.
