New Grower Shipment From Attitude Busted By Customs

Wow ! I am truly gobsmacked, I never knew you could not buy seeds with the same ease we can in the UK and I thought you had it all over there.

Yeah liontamer if u don't have a med card or a friend that does than people here gotta order from u guys. Alotta growers here use clones. On the westcoast u can walk into a store and have 10 to 50 strains available to you already growing and beautiful. Another option here is rtf. Ready to flowers are three foot trees u can take home and 2 months later u have crop of tasty buds. I'm in the minority that has the nuts to wait the 4 months to 8. That it takes to grow out test pheno types grow out mother plants take clones ect. Lot of work time and money. All my bros and stores love me for it though.
ya dude, the problem with MJ laws in US is big money pharmaceutics lobbyist keeping the laws against in place because they want you to buy their poison pills in place of ingesting a plant that anyone can grow..

Yep, i am a card carrying medical patient in the pacific northwest and i still have to order from the UK if i want seeds, (havent tried RCMC yet so i might be able to do canada). I cant speak for anywhere but washington, but the only seed that are available at any dispensary that i have been to are TGA Subcool strains. Breederj is right about the clones though, i can find a lot of different photo strain already growing, you have to be a little leary though because they are often mislabeled or misrepresented and have there own disease, pest problems. Also some will take clones with out the proper check n balances and it is not uncommon to get male plants. I think there is definitely a glamorized view of american weed laws and tolerance outside U.S.
Sent an email to Attitude late last night and got a quick reply back from Jodie at Attitude. He just requested a photo of the package sent along with the postal tracker number along with the address and of course the green custom tape to verify the loss. I would assume after recieving the proof from me they will reship. So if you get your shipment confiscated from Attitude make sure you keep everything so they can verify your loss. I will keep you informed of any further developments. To answer a question further up in the thread I live in the southwest part of the country and I don't believe the shipper has any say in were the shipments enter the country I would assume the Customs Dept. decides that.

I did a little online research about postal service processing centers. They have sophisticated digital imaging devices which they use to read addresses and process the mail. These devices are able to even read handwritten addresses. My concern is my address is now in some government data base and any mail or package coming from overseas will be flagged and inspected. Am I being too paranoid? Anybody have any experience with reshipments making it through Customs?
