In the order reply detailing payment options it says this:

‘2) Cash via mail

Available only for US/UK orders (will be paid in your local currency). If this is your preferred method of payment please reply to this email to say that's the case so we can forward the address to you. Payment must be sent with a tracking number.

If you're in the US you can also send a money order. Please purchase money orders at the Post Office (USPS), these will have the cheapest fess and will be easiest for us to cash. Fill in the purchasers information, but leave the “Pay to:” line blank. You can mail the money order in a large envelope, first class parcel mail with tracking for 3.50$.’

It’s a must to send with tracking, it’s for your protection and our protection. To avoid situations like this.

We’ve done 1000’s of orders over the years and it’s senseless that’d we’d try to pinch 50 bucks from anyone, but if we haven’t received your payment then what should we do.

I’m not looking for any freebies nor would I feel my money was taken by ur company

Why though? When you send it tracked you can add insurance. You could insure your $100 order for $300 and it would cost you less than $5. If it doesn’t arrive in Mephisto’s hands then the post office owes you $300.

The day after I mailed cash is when I was told money orders would now be accepted

I think cash is fine to send, if recorded, within your own country and you know, you’re not sending grands in the mail.

Why though? When you send it tracked you can add insurance. You could insure your $100 order for $300 and it would cost you less than $5. If it doesn’t arrive in Mephisto’s hands then the post office owes you $300.

Its a unnecessary hassle plus you gotta spend more money

You have to pay for the envelope,stamp,tracking,and insurance(and it’s definitely not $3.50 in my state like it says in the meph post above)

When buying with a card you don’t have to worry about any of that bs plus you can easily dispute a charge and get your money back if there’s a problem

Sure fair enough, but it’s one option that does work. There are other options available. Nothing quite as convenient as a card but we’re working on that.
