Lighting short grow

i have 2 150 mars hydro units in a 37/42inch room . the units were at 24 inches above plants.2 weeks went by and plants only grew 2inches or so. lowered units to 18inches same results maybe an inch or so. using same feeding as i did with cfl grow , wich was very successful ? help
 
How old are your plants?
The same thing happened with mine but at week 3-4, they took off!
With my new grow, I'm giving them help with cfl the first couple weeks then led.

one plant first plant started on 4/20 onlw 2 inches high. 3 plants in total. 1cfl added. today 2 cfls added .raised panels to 18 inches
 
If you get a chance, post some pics of your setup and plants....... and I'm sure members with more knowledge will be along shortly....
 
When your posting a reply, click the 'Upload a File' button at the bottom right. Select your file, one at a time. When it uploads them it gives you an option to post either thumbnail or full size.
This is how it works for me. You may be on another type of device. There is a sticky somewhere about how to do this if you have problems.

My guess would be the nutes, if it was the light you would probably see some more stretching.

i believe you are right. what do you mean by stretching? i added more nutes. i am starting to guess that thled's need more nutes. thanks
 
By stretching I mean growth in height, if the plants feel they don't get enough light, they will usually grow quite tall but thin. They do this in nature to compete with other plants for any light available, to avoid other plants covering up the space above them and blocking the light.
