well i have got my stuff orderd i
went with short stuff's blue himalayan diesel( i think i spelt that right )
anyway i was just wondering if there was a difference between indoors and outdoors
i will be going outdoors this run soon as it gets here and i have thought about just putting them right into the ground insted of using pots this time around..

i'm down in the south in tn and didnt know how well they may do so any one that has had them outdoors what was your final product like. thanks

and by the way how tall did they get and how potent was the smell.

If you want to put seeds strait in the ground be sure to replace at least a litre or two (prefferably more) of your native soil with something ammended.

Remember that the key to getting yield out of autos is getting them to veg to size within the few weeks before they flower. I personally have never had nearly the rate of growth in veg outdoor from seed as I have under lights for ..... lets say the first month of veg, which is all you have with autos anyways. The best way is to veg in a controlled environment indoor for 3-4 weeks (T5s work best for me), and then carefully transplant outdoor in a good ammended hole.

Contrary to what most people will tell you, your product wont be that much different (it could even turn out better..???) when done properly outdoor. The main difference is that it almost always turns out a little leafier outdoor, which can give it less bag appeal and a little stronger, harsher taste.

Also, putting young plants (especially pricey seeds) outdoor is risky. With seedlings you should make some kind of little cage to keep the rabbits and things out, and more important yet is slug bait. Actually there are a number of things that will munch on seedlings in early spring, but I find these two to be my biggest enemys.

Even when done well don't expect BHDs to get much bigger than 60-70 cent. (2 feet) outdoor. They are not big yielders.

Good luck!

Well i will start them indoors and let them veg before i put them out but i do have alot of rabbits so im guessing i will have alot of rabbit to eat.
But 2 foot aint bad at all but im sure im going to get more beans once i get my return back but thanks for your help.

you will get more smoke grown under lights at 20/4 or 24/0 light .ive done both.great smoke but not alot there .inside you get maybe double what you make outside

yeah i think i may do that while we still have a little bit of waiting to do.
i can break out the 400 once my new fan comes in cause i really dout i can wait
till i go out doors. i guess i could try for a seed run while im waiting for it to warm up

do a seed run before planting outdoors to limit losses
also research if this is an outdoor suitable plant
