New Grower Soil question

Just got ph testing kit and apparently ive been watering with a ph of 4.0-5.0 T_T lol i did however get a perfect 6.5 ph mix going so should be all good now ^_^


oh and the seeds are now in the united states ready for deliver so hope it makes it to me ok ^_^

Hello, sounds like everyone is having fun, can I join in? Use tin foil and glue it to the cardboard, do sides and floor. Unless your space is very dry (less than 40%rh) or very wet (60%+) humidity shouldn't be much of a problem. Soil mixes are not my thing, I use pro-mix ultimate and nutes. If you control the soil ph (a good meter is a must, Hanna checker $35) and provide enough light everything sort of takes care of itself. Temp may be more of a problem, what are you doing about smell?

currently nothing with smell. waiting for payment before purchasing the secure factor.

ill have about 200 to work with smell before end of next month.

just finished preping a few small buckets of 6.5 ph water one with a little super thrive and one plain tap and distilled mix.

area has been set up for 3 plants in a closed area with box and wall and have 10 23 watt cfl's in the area.

seeds will be here today and i will be starting the germination of the auto white widow today. i've gone ahead and prepared the soil.

its a mix of oF perlite and plain soil.

ill start the journal page tonight i guess.

where do i do journals at on here?

I'm sure iv'e seen many just in this section of the forums so ill start it in the new growers section and i'm sure if it is wrong a mod can move the thread to the correct section.
