Do we consider soiless mixes such as, promix hp as being a soil and therefore following the soil charts or would it be considered a type of hydroponics (I have read this in other forums, this is what sparks the question, i'm not insane ) and therefore should follow the hydroponics charts? I mean if you think about it, having no nutritional value in your medium, could you not consider it hydroponic?

Pro Mix, and like products, are considered semi soil less since they contain peat moss. Follow the soil charts. From my personal experience with Pro Mix I've found that 6.2 - 6.5 is the best pH range.
