Something is wrong with my ladies, can you help??

Cannabis Seeds
Dahamm TDS Metah....I dropped in in da watah.
Gotta run, we ah goin to Tahget.

:crying:

I had a gastric bypass a few years ago, same calcium situation with us humans, some are more soluble than others. (same with iron) To bad this mom was not told that back in 2002 or she would have not developed anemia and a calcium deficiency!! Never related that to my plants...kinda cool.

So, the problem seems to be continuing. Here is a leaf from the other day. I had some folks say it looks like spider mites (OMG) i did clean out tent and spray ladies with neem oil. I have dia earth in the pots, and mosquito dunks in the res. I used a magnifying glass and did not see any creepy crawlies on the top or bottom of leaves.

Moms getting nervous, very nervous.
:nono:

bugger and fek! ... in-pot pH is OK? did you get a new TDS unit? What's the Ca input been like, just the MC2.0, or additional supp's? Those ppm's numbers are a helpful clue....
.... spots are too big to be mites,... not bugs for sure! .... spotting still smacks of Ca, but is atypical so i could be wrong,.... Ca can present several ways, have you peeked at the Defc. Pic Depot yet? .... is it just this one plant? I'm wondering if the whole CEC in that coco-soil bastard blend is off still,... Did we talk about cation exchange capacity? ...that coco hogs Ca until it's sated? .... Ironically, overdoing Ca/Mg can lead to defc. symptoms of each other, a sort competitive ion uptake issue,..... I know, more

Thanks hon. Yes, it is just the one plant..the one half soil and half coco. I have been using just mc2 and hydroguard, no supplements except sometimes she will get a little xtra top or bottom water of Greenleaf Cal Mag pro. (since this issue started) PPM in res is usually around 675 or so. Otherwise she is growing fine!....sigh.

There also may be a little Canna Terra in her pot in addition to the soil which I believe is peat based. I ran out of coco and wanted to fill her pot. Oh my lord. My next grow will be JUST STRAIGHT COCO. Live and learn (and document every step)...the hard way!
:face:

:face: this got buried, sorry MM,... It's been batshit crazy in here all year! :help: :deadhorse:
MC2.0 is solid,...all bases covered there, and since it's not pure coco, the Ca demand shouldn't be as heavy,... is it still progressing? ppm's seem fine, and the minor supp'ing with the Ca-Mg should have it covered, but in excess which as mentioned can start a irritating vicious circle of Ca/mg blocking each other out for uptake, causing odd seemingly contrary symptoms,...
pH been OK in-pot? Have I barked about getting a soil ph porbe for in-pot measurements yet? ..my Accurate 8 has been a champ' for this, still works great after 4+ years too,...

Good morning! Plant is not doing so well, she is currently sitting on my mothers dresser and my mom is loving it. I can not afford the probe right now, but maybe my next paycheck. is this the one?
Amazon product ASIN B004PDNQOK
Will the probe work the same way in coco as it does in soil?

The other ladies are doing awesome, so I guess I will chalk it up to experience and never mix multiple substrates!!

:bighug:

 this unit is sold under several brands, but it's the same Chinese factory!
..... look for better pricing. I checked under the Control Wizard Accurate 8 name, and got ridiculous prices for this. Don't pay much over $50, seems the best deal price range over the years....

Amazon product ASIN B01HNULD3M

I see other brands, Gain Express, TOPINCN (this was only .$37, can't say if it's a "factory second" or something like that).... coco is a specialized medium, but many folks treat it the same as true soil, and sooner (usually not later!) it bites them in the butt,... typically it's run closer to Hydro than soil even peat based soilless,.. By that I mean you feed weakly, often, testing pH and ppm going and coming out, 15-20%+ run-off each time to prevent nute salt build-up and monitor in-pot pH that way,.. one of the one cases where run-off pH is to be relied upon! In Autopots, this is obviously not the case=
... Are you hip to what CEC, cation exchange capacity is? it's why coco is so odd, and often bitchy about nutes when not dealt with properly,... it's a huge Ca hog (Mg to a lesser extent), binds it to the particles strongly until a saturation level is met, then it "gives and takes" in balance, or buffered (not pH in this case)... pure water alone can screw this up, so never just water, Ca-Mg at least,... runs lower pH too, 5.8-6.2 generally,... crappy coco, not aged and treated by makers properly will have too much K and possible Na in it, both are native to it in high levels,... This will cause all kinds of crap!
... coco does breath and drain super well, that's why it's a great medium to use if you dial things in,... otherwise I recommend staying with a premium soil...
I've not run coco yet either, I deal with it here so I learn vicariously-... to me, it more PITA than it's worth, unless I was in Autopots,... seen great results with that, contrary to what's the typical recommended MO...
:crying: She's become room decor?!

Yep, lady one has become my mothers new pet, ha ha. She is not doing well at all. Just sitting there not dying, but not growing or budding. Who knows, but she pleases my mom and that makes her worth gold.

I use canna coco natural, I assume it is a quality product, but then again what do I know? ha ha.

Thank you love for all of your help and info!!

XOXO

Oh my goodness...now lady [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] is lime green with dark green edges. Probably PH issue with her too....and I dont have the money for a meter right now. ...sigh. Is there any way I can do a runoff check or something? I have never done that, and clueless.

Her and her remaining sister are in 1/2 canna coco and 1/2 canna terra. I dont think I will ever do THAT again....

I have always calibrated my meter, PH'd feed to 5.9-6.1 and checked res every morning to keep it in that range. Last feed was just 4g MC2 per gallon. Her sister next to her seems to not be affected..YET.
