Mephisto Genetics Sour Orange Livers nute line battle. MEGA CROP vs AN with Air injection

Why BE over something like Red Line which I see a few people using? Going to be placing my next order shipment soon and it will have all the non MC stuff in it. CMP. Sweet Candy. And either Redline or BE I think.

Look at the directions and ingredients. BE is a stronger PK booster, they say it can be used at the beginning of flower to increase bud sites and at the end to dense up the buds, increase resin, ect. Red line is like Overdrive, meant to be used at the end and is weaker. I would rather have BE. Plus looking at the MC Plants Vs AN they are Slightly Behind IN early bud development. They most likely need an Early dose Of PK, adding more MC will increase the N. There is plenty already.

Thanks Slow. Going to update my shopping cart and drop the RL and add BE.

That is just my method of thinking. I was going to get a small thing of Red line too, but the whole point of MC is to use a 1 part powder. I am using 3, now 4. I personally think the BE will be plenty. I have no desire to try the rest of the line up.

Yes the whole idea of only needing one powder is gone out the window. But the Tang simple AN schedule has 4 parts in full flower too and I find that easy to work with so MC should be doable too.

Yes It is doable. I Dont see the need for Both BE and Redline. 4 Powders Is Plenty, And BE Is Stronger. So I got The $60 Bag. Should Last A Long Time.

So I am super excited. I started a couple CDLC plants in a small tent a nd they out grew it. They had to be out in the back of a large flower area I have, but are doing excellent. I will be flushing them in a week or so. Anyways, the strain is killer looking and is going to yield pretty decent in 3quart pots. The quality looks amazing. I like doing small pots, it helps speed things up and contains the size. However, I am so impressed with CDLC that I am going to jump up to 2 Gal pots with Airdomes. I am going to give 2 ladies the whole 4x4 and aim for high yield and excellent end product. They will be fed via pump, timer, and drip stakes. I will be using MC on them to see the quality vs AN. I will start a thread once They are up, have 2 beans in wet TP now! I know this strain is vigorous and will take up more space with the 2 Gal pots. I have a really good feeling about this! The 4x4 tent is totally accessible from start to finish, so I won't have to move them and came take pics from start to finish. I grow so many plants some are not photographed easily once in flower.

Badass slow! Been toking some CLDC with a 2 month cure, and man its become my favorite tasting strain. She is a lovely girl to grow! Tag me in when you start a thread.

slow, back to the greenleaf nutes.
I recently discovered that AN Carboload does not work well with the autopot irrigation and valves. Too much sugars gum things up. Builds up gunk in the trays and around the valve parts. Can even clog things up where there is no flow which is bad if not detected early.

Sweet Candy has sugar carbs in it too. Any idea if it might cause me similar problems?

I don't know exactly the long term effect on lines or valves with Sweet Candy, but I can assure you that it isn't leaving a syrup residue like Carboload does in my jugs. Carboload is like Corn Syrup consistency, and seems to settle at the bottom of my 3 gal jugs. My guess is that anything with molasses/sugars in it will leave some kind of residue eventually. But Carboload seems way worse just by the consistency.
