.....keep misting to keep moist and go to more regular type waterings, i.e. till some drainoff? Any guidance? 'nother words when is it not enough for roots development to just moisten surface?

I put mine in a pre-watered container and misted the surface until they broke free, then watered for the 1st time when the pot was completely dry.
 
How old are the seedlings?,and how many sets of leaves do they have?

They went straight into soil in 3 gallon pots last Friday. Sprouted Monday. Have their first true set of leaves. Been misting only which some recommend. Apparently they use very little water. Others, like Albert Einstein go to watering. Watering a 3 gallon pot till draining, such a small plant?
