Those solo cups are impressive. Whats the average dry weight? I'm in a 4x4 and would love to know if this would be a good option to maximize limited space.

my highest amount is 43 grams but generally just over an oz is doable also in your 4x4 id grow your big plants with a couple of these thrown in the mix and once my bigger plants get tall i just tape another solo cup on a cane and it keeps all my tops around the same height also i can tell you something solo cups are very addictive

This is a really good idea. Seeds cost me roughly $20+ a pop, but freebies don't cost me a cent and would probably otherwise never be planted. But solo cups ...

And then if you run all diffferant solo cups them you end up with lots of different strains in your jars so like a kid in a sweet shop and tag me if you start some I just treat them like tiny mini pots same food as the big ones

Hey St. Tom, i was wondering if i posted a few pics of a 16 oz cup equivalent grow that i'm doing for fun on RIU with a few others if you could give your opinion on how it looks so far. I've never tried this small, but do use 2 liters alot. It's 15 days from breaking coco and it gets top fed 1x a day so far with GH Cal Mag 4 ml per gal, 6 ml Micro and 9 ml Bloom(just till it's gone than going to Megacrop v2) till run-off. I'd say it's between 24" to 30" away from my QB. She stretched to just shy of 3" when her 1st set of leaves came while at the same light distance(is this normal stretch for such a small cup or just that far from lights? Never had that kind of twig, but i like her look now)? You'll notice i took the 1st set of branches yesterday because they were so small. I was contemplating cutting the 2nd set by next week if they are weak looking as well and hope it makes the top stronger in size and weight. Thanks for the time.

She looks fine I generally top mine and just remove odd leaves but don't go to crazy and give her time to recover as I don't want you to really stunt her and keep me posted growbro

Thanks. I've never really looked at any of the solo grows in depth. We're just messing around like 6 of us at most, but wondered how it looked. Appriciate it.

Matt they are very addictive to grow I find them a lot of fun also her are my new recruits approaching day 4 ish I've also decided the Orange-utan is going in an autopot and the Sour Crinkle is my new solo project
