Hello
I built this container (either 1/2 or 1/4 gallon square plastic with holes in bottom) with a half in layer of peralite in the bottom, then 1/3 total soil ammended with roots organic terp tea bloom nute, then the next 2/3 of the container was ammended with root organic uprising veg nute. The base was Happy Frog and it all got extra earth worm castings, peralite, vermiculite, and epsom salt. I then made a fist sized hole in the top soil and lined it with Bigfoot granular microbes. Then filled with plain happy frog and peralite in that hole to act as a seed starter. (Pic 1)
After placing the container under a light for 24 hours and watering it first , the seed was planted. Initially, a bit too deep. Two days after planting I poked around gently and saw a little root snake just chillin still wearing her helmet. I propped her a bit, and just barely covered the root. Next day, root was stronger with more tendrils. Next day after that we broke surface and shed the helmet (day 1, pic 2)
Since then I have been misting my tent as often as possible and misting the top soil. She has been watered twice since being planted (I simply just use the misting container as it’s the perfect amount to evenly wet the container when it goes dry) only towards the outside edges of container, leaving the middle near the stem dry. Today I began LST of sort, and used one of my girlfriends bobby pins to bend her over. (Pic 3)
I am excited for this plant- there is not a whole lotgoing on here in the grand scheme of growing cannabis plants but I am going to make the most of her. Today is day 7.
light - HLG 65 4000K QB
Tent - 2x2x5
Fan - 6” secret jardin
Temp / RH - 75-78F / 50% humidity (thus the frequent misting)
Microbes - Bigfoot granular and water-in concentrate
Nutrient - roots organic terp tea and uprising, doctor earth products for top dressing at key points of growth phases
Water - tap water 24 hour dechlorination with compost tea labs bubble snake and 315 GPH air pump - PH balanced using apple cider vinegar as down - 6.5-6.8
there is also a 4000k COB light (20$) down below to add more total light. I use it to start seeds and supplemental veg
